Social Media Internship

Saint Louis Scott Gallagher is looking for a well-qualified social media intern with experience playing or working in soccer. The SLSG Marketing department develops, schedules and maintains all content on  Saint Louis Scott Gallagher social media channels and website.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the SLSG Marketing Department in creation and development of content to distribute across all social media platforms

Assist in scheduling and implementing a monthly, weekly, daily social media calendar

Monitor and engage communication with Gallagher members across all social media platforms in real time

Real time coverage of live team events and functions

Maintain and update social media channels during games, tournaments and special events

Assist in developing and updating website content (on an as needed basis)

Requirements:

Working towards a degree in marketing, communications, social media or related field

Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and must have a pulse on developing social media platforms

Strong storytelling/copywriting/copyediting skills

Basic knowledge of the youth soccer and the youth soccer landscape

Ability to work as a team under tight deadlines

Extremely detail oriented

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Hours:

Flexible but will include nights and weekends. This position will be an unpaid position. Opportunity for school credit/internship.

Requirements
SLSG coaches time commitment typically consists of 2-3 trainings a week, 1 league game on the weekend, and tournament travel. Level of competitive soccer opportunities varies from beginner, intermediary, to advanced.

• Cottleville, MO
• Fenton, MO
• Creve Coeur, MO
• Collinsville, IL

Previous experience in soccer coaching preferred.

Food and Beverage

St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club is accepting applications for the part time positions for the Concession Stands and Kitchen at the WWT Soccer Park located in Fenton, MO.

Responsibilities

The Concessions Worker positions support the management of the day-to-day operations of the concession facilities.

Several positions are available:

• Cash Register Attendant
• Concessions Stocker
• Food Prep Stations
• Concessions Cook

The WWT Soccer Park Concessions operations are a fun and many times face-paced environment. This requires our staff to follow the instructions, guidance, and direction of management and supervisor personnel as they pertain to the policies, procedures, and rules of the facilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.30 - $13.00 per hour

SLSG FAN SHOP

Position: Saint Louis Scott Gallagher Fan Shop Associate

SLSG Fan Shop Associate Job Description: 

Fan shop associates are responsible for assisting our over 4,000 club members with merchandise questions as they shop our store. The SLSG Fan Shop is an essential piece of our club and provides our members and their families with everything they need on and off the pitch. 

SLSG Fan Shop Associate duties and responsibilities:

• Greeting customers
• Assisting with questions on merchandise availability
• Enforcing store policies well as other 
• Answering Scott Gallagher Soccer Club related questions. 
• Maintaining inventory levels on the sales floor
• Processing Online Orders
• Use of the Square Register System to process sales
• Light cleaning (sweeping, wiping down counters & windows)

Fan Shop Associate skills and qualifications:

• Basic Math Skills
• Excellent communication skills a must
• Able to enforce store policies and explain store promotions
• Ability to learn and run the register system
• Reliable transportation
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be able to work independently
• Patience when working through difficult situations
• Understanding of soccer is a plus, but not required
• Be available to work evenings and weekends
